The City of Beaverton is pleased to announce the 2013 "If I Were Mayor" contest for students in grades 4-12! Students in grades 4-6 make a poster, grades 7-8 write an essay of 500 to 1,000 words, and grades 9-12 make a video or Powerpoint presentation of one to three minutes. Entries are due by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12. There's a $50 Visa giftcard for winners at the city level, and the chance to win a laptop at the statewide compeition.
