One of the Teen Library Council's goals for this year is to give back to the community and we're getting ready to do just that at the Community Give on Sunday, May 5th from 1-4pm in the library meeting rooms at the central Beaverton City Library. Participants can decorate place mats or greeting cards for Meals-on-Wheels recipients, make fuzzy toys for adoptable dogs or cats, write a letter to military service personnel or bring new or gently-used formal wear to donate to Abbey's Closet. You, and your students, and anyone else you know are invited to come and participate in this great event where we're hoping to build community by supporting our community.
