Promoting Summer Reading - Can we visit your class?

Summer is almost here and at the Beaverton City Library, we are excited to get the word out about this year’s Teen Summer Reading Program (TSRP).

As usual, sign-ups for the program begin June 1st.  The TSRP is open to any students who are entering grade 6-12 in 2013, and 2013 high school graduates.   After signing up, participants complete 15 hours of reading and bring their reading logs back to the library for a free book of their choice and coupons to area businesses.

Teens can also review the books that they have read and enter their reviews in weekly drawings to win gift cards ranging from $5 - $15 in value.  All reviews are also entered in our final grand prize drawing for $100.

Ian and I are gearing up to visit classes all around Beaverton to talk about the TSRP.  Would you like to have us visit your class?  Visits usually take about 15 minutes and we can work around your schedule.  If you're interested, please email Dawn or Ian to set up a TSRP visit!
