Multi-Cultural Lit in 2013 - data from the Cooperative Children's Book Center

The Cooperative Children's Book Center recently published their statistics on books by and about people of color published in 2013 (and comparison numbers back to 2012).  They are not terribly encouraging, but good information to know:


Thankfully, there are many great multicultural stories out there to recommend to your Middle & High School students.  Here is the CCBC's list of 30 Multicultural Books Every Teen Should Know:
