Free SAT/ACT Practice Test

The SAT and the ACT: the knowledge that so much relies on a pile of papers makes anyone nervous, doesn't it? That's why it's important for students to become comfortable with the test's format and environment, as well as the content. The fewer surprises students encounter on the "big day," the more confident and focused they will be!

On Sunday, October 5th, the Beaverton City Library is hosting a free SAT/ACT practice test from 12:30-4:30pm. Students may sign up for either test, allowing them to practice engaging with the test in a realistic, highly-monitored environment (as proctored by Kaplan). Students will receive their test scores by mail over the next couple of weeks; they also have the opportunity to attend a free follow-up event at BCL on Tuesday, October 14th, where they can ask questions about the test and learn ways to conquer those difficult questions.

To sign-up for the test, students should visit the Kaplan Test website at http://www.kaptest.com/. Click on "SAT," then click on "Find a Free Event" in the left column. Simply search for tests near your zip code to find our location and date! If you prefer to sign-up by phone, you can also call 1-800-KAPTEST.
