Teen Summer Reading classroom visits

From June 1st-August 12th, the Beaverton City Library will be holding a summer reading program for all students entering grades 6-12 in the autumn of 2009. Students may sign up to read 15 hours over the course of the summer, and finishers will receive a prize packet and pick a free paperback to take home. This year’s teen slogan is Express Yourself @ Your Library, which means that we also have a docket full of creative activities beyond the written page.

We would love the chance to visit your classroom and promote the Teen Summer Reading Program. It only takes 10-15 minutes to share with your students, which includes bringing along our nifty calendar of events. :) If you are interested, please give us a call (503-350-4001) to get a visit scheduled!
