The 4th book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, called Dog Days, hits shelves one week from today (Oct. 12th)! Of course, we all know that our 'tween students can't get enough of Greg Heffley, so the library has stocked up on copies of this title. You and your students can stop by the library to see if you can snag a non-holdable copy or visit our online catalog to place a hold.More importantly, I wanted to let you know that we are holding a DWK Dog Days Book Release Party for our 4th-7th graders. On Monday, October 26th, 3:30-4:30, we'll be playing games and eating food related to Greg's adventures. We'll even be raffling off copies of the new book as prizes! This is a great place for late elementary and early middle school students to have free fun at the library, without the competition of the little kids or the uber-cool high schoolers.
