I wish that every single one of our 6th-12th grade students was safe, warm, and fed every evening. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Those needs become even more critical as the weather turns cold this week, however, so pass along the word about Washington County's severe weather shelters!
Note that one shelter on that list, Safe Place Youth Shelter, is specifically for ages 12-19 years. It can be reached on bus 57 and does provide a meal.
