'Tis the season for college planning! And we are lucky enough to hear about many local events, so expect to keep seeing posts about many of the great (FREE!) opportunities in our area. The Financial Planning Association of Oregon and Southwest Washington will be hosting a free seminar called "College Planning Workshop -- Launch into College Planning... Are You Ready?" This event is intended to assist folks in discovering the college funding and academic planning strategies available to them. High school students, their guardians, and high school faculty are invited to take advantage of this free seminar.
The seminar will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 in Meeting Rooms A & B at the Beaverton City Library. It is hosted by the Financial Planning Association of Oregon and Southwest Washington; please contact them for more information. Happy National Financial Planning Week!
