Jan 2012 Mock Printz Workshop Open to Teens

You have probably heard of the Printz award, the American Library Association's top honor for young adult books, but did you know that local librarians and teens host a Mock Printz workshop in Portland each year? This year it is being held at the Multnohmah County Central Library on Saturday, January 7th from 1-5 p.m. There are still spots available for teens. All they have to do is read the 10 nominated books and come prepared to discuss them. If you have any students who are interested, please have them email me, I can answer questions and help them register if they decide to participate.
