The 2012 Teen Summer Reading Art Contest materials are now available for download on the WCCLS Web page:Once again, teens aged 12-18 across the county are encouraged to submit artwork encapsulating the Teen Summer Reading theme for the year. This year's slogan is "Own the Night!" This year, the slogan itself does not necessarily need to be used, so long as the artwork represents the "night time" theme in some way. We hope that this leaves room for a lot more creative interpretation!
The first prize winner will receive a Powell's Books giftcard valued at $150 and have their art used on summer reading materials all over the county! Runners-up will receive $50 and $25 gift certificates at Art Media. Entries will be accepted at Washington County libraries between Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 and Wednesday, February 19, 2012.
