The Hunger Games officially hits theaters today, and the reviews have been pretty positive so far! Goodreads has just published an interesting blog post entitled 'The Dystopian Timeline to the Hunger Games.' It tracks the spikes in popularity in dystopian fiction and notes that the genre is at its most popular point since the Cold War. Surprisingly, The Hunger Games is well on its way to overtaking 1984 as the most popular dystopian novel on Goodreads!
