Happy winter break! The 2012 Teen Winter Reading Program starts this Friday, December 21st. During winter break, teen are encouraged to read and review books. Book reviews can be submitted online at http://apps.beavertonoregon.gov/Library/TeenReviews/reviews_books.aspx, or written out on this form and placed in a box in the teen room at BCL Main or the Murray Scholls Branch. Reviews should be at least 2-3 sentences long. We will be accepting entries until Friday, January 4th, 2013. Each review submitted is an entry to prize drawings for giftcards to places like Target, Jamba Juice, Century 16, and more. Eight $15 giftcards will also be given away as grand prizes for the best review in each category! Experts say that reading during winter break can be a great way to stave off cabin fever!
