10th Annual City of Beaverton Human Rights Creative Expression Contest

The City of Beaverton's 10th Annual Human Rights Creative Expression Contest begins on January 19th. Students in K-12 are encouraged to show understanding of the importance of human rights through an artistic medium, which can include essay, poem, spoken word, song, music, poster, drawing, collage, clay, craft, film, dance, or any combination of these. Top winners receive $50 Powell's gift cards and possible newspaper coverage, and two runners-up will receive $25 Powell's cards. Entries are due Friday, February 28, 2014 at Beaverton City Hall by 5:00 p.m.
