New library website

Springtime is fresh, new, and sunny -- and so are we. The Beaverton City Library is proud to announce the debut of the new library website!

While I'm sure that you have all visited the library website in the past, I wanted to point out a few key points worthy of your attention.
  • Teen Events & Contests page. This page holds important information about our upcoming programs and any big contests underway. This will always include the art contests and the literary contests, such as the current Acrostic Poetry Contest. If you need guidelines and entry forms, check here!
  • Teen Booklists. We have a plethora of up-to-date booklists for 6th-12th graders. This includes genre lists, grade level lists, and read-alike lists. (Perhaps you have a Twilight, Percy Jackson, or Hunger Games reader that needs somewhere to go from here?) If you are at a loss to recommend the next good book, check here!
  • Teen Homework Help. We offer free drop-in homework help throughout the school year. If you need to discover when the next helper will be at BCL, check here!

Of course, the library website also includes all the information you could need about using materials, finding books in the library catalog, reserving meeting rooms, getting a library card, and much more... including how to contact the Young Adult Division! Let us know what you think of the new site.
