The Beaverton City Library is excited to be hosting two very special guests at our William Stafford birthday celebration! Authors Molly Gloss (The Hearts of Horses, Wild Life, Outside the Gates) and Ursula LeGuin (The Wizard of Earthsea, The Dispossessed, Powers series) will perform readings and be available for brief Q&A sessions! Audience members are also invited to share their favorite Stafford poems. This is an excellent experience to catch two famous Oregon writers in one place, and celebrate our literary heritage!The celebration is this Sunday, January 9th at 2:00 p.m. in the library's downstairs auditorium. Due to the popularity of the authors, it may be wise to show up slightly early to ensure a seat!
