National Book Award's changing list of finalists

Wow! Has anyone been following the National Book Award Foundation's activity this week? After announcing 5 finalists for young people's literature, the foundation added a 6th book, Chime by Franny Billingsley. Then they asked Lauren Myracle, initially announced as a finalist, to withdraw her book Shine from the list saying that it was a mistake. Too bad! Both are very good books.
