The 10th Annual Teen Art Show Guidelines and Submission form are now availble on our Web site! We're accepting submissions from talented teen artists Monday, November 12 until Wednesday, November 14. The show will officially kick off on Thursday, November 15 at 3:00 p.m. with light refreshments. The art will be up for viewing November 16 until November 18 during normal library hours.
New to this year's show is the People's Choice Award in the form of a $100 gift certificate to Blick Art Materials, which was generously donated by the New Friends of the Beaverton Library! We will have a voting box at the front during the show where viewers can vote for their favorite. In addition, the school with the most submissions wil receive a $50 gift certificate courtesy of Blick. Our goal is to have each school in the Beaverton area represented.
Paper copies of the guidelines and submission form are on the way to area art teachers. Please encourage any artistic students in grades 6-12 you may know to submit their art. It's a great opportunity to have their work viewed by a large audience!
