WCCLS recently added a new online encyclopedia to replace Worldbook.
The Encyclopedia Britannica Online Edition went live earlier this month; the content is still accessible from home and school with a WCCLS library card at http://www.wccls.org/online_resources. Britannica offers considerably more content than Worldbook, but some would argue that it also has a steeper learning curve. Fortunately, there is a Britannica for Kids that offers a much more streamlined and colorful interface. There's a handy Spanish Translator that, when turned on, will display the Spanish equivalent of individual words that the user hovers over with the mouse cursor.
