Oregon College Savings Plan Program at the BCL

While this isn't our event, I thought that I would share this to pass on to collegebound students. This is via Roger Gregory at the Oregonian:

"Representatives from the Oregon College Savings Plan will lead a free college savings seminar starting 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Beaverton City Library, 12375 S.W. Fifth St.

Attendees can find out more about the tax advantages and benefits of using the 529 Plan to save money for college. Information on federal and state financial aid options and how to apply for scholarship money will also be available.
