Oregon Humanities Conversation Project at the Library April 23rd

History and Social Studies teachers:

On Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:00pm, the library will be hosting an Oregon Humanities Conversation Project Program entitled, Toward One Oregon: Bridging Oregon’s Urban and Rural Communities. The participants who attend the program will engage in a conversation about urban and rural tensions in Oregon facilitated by Ethan Seltzer, professor of urban studies and planning at Portland State University and Bruce Weber, professor of agricultural and resource economics at Oregon State University. This would be a great opportunity for your students to learn about the cultural, social and political dynamics that divide our state.

There is more information about the event on the Oregon Humanities website and specific event info including the time and location on the library’s event calendar.  Please feel free to share with any interested students!
